Technical Writer

CradlePoint's growing Marketing team is looking for a Technical Writer.   This person will research, develop, and write technical documents for networking solutions for the trusted global leader in enterprise-grade LTE networking solutions for distributed enterprise. Documents include data sheets, product manuals, User Interface Help Menu items, support video scripts, Knowledgebase articles, Quick Start Guides, how-to’s, and technical best practices guides. The purpose of the documents will be for marketing, education, and support documentation. This position reports to the Director of Product Marketing and will be responsible for planning and managing the document development process as CradlePoint introduces new products to market.

QA Project Manager

'QA Project Manager is responsible for the coordination of all professional services projects engaged by the Cradlepoint Quality Assurance department. This position is generally responsible for managing any contract-based relationships, such as contract/consulting labor or outsourced engineering/development services. The Project Manager must understand the needs/requirements of the project and engage with a suitable party to fulfill the requirements adequately. The Project Manager will handle all aspects of the contract, from engagement, tracking progress and status, until final approval of deliverables. Authoring or facilitating suitable documentation, such as requirements, acceptance criteria and design documents will be necessary.

QA Engineer (FW)

QA Engineer is responsible for executing written tests, recording results and reporting on those results. Testing will be performed on both router firmware and web-based SaaS management platform. QA Engineers must use skills in advanced PC usage, routers and networking to configure all relative test equipment. They must also write scripts, utilities and test documentation, as necessary. QA Engineer is considered a mid-level position with expectation of deep fundamental knowledge of testing principles and methodologies. Heavy Exploratory testing will be performed. They will frequently work with various types and brands of networking equipment (routers, switches, firewalls, access points, etc.), and may be required to configure those devices. Heavy use of software configuration and monitoring will be emphasized during test. Additionally, since CradlePoint is a cellular networking company, QA Engineers will frequently work with cellular data modems, RF diagnostics and terminologies.
