Cradlepoint’s channel programs and executives are recognized for fourth consecutive year for supporting channel community growth and sales success
Boise, ID — February 20, 2017 — Cradlepoint, the global provider of cloud-based network solutions for connecting people, places, and things over wired and wireless broadband, announced today that Edward Walton, vice president for North American channels and alliances at Cradlepoint, has been selected as a 2017 CRN Channel Chief. This is the fourth consecutive year CRN has appointed Cradlepoint to the list of Channel Chiefs. The annual CRN list showcases top leaders in the IT channel who excel at driving growth and revenue in their organizations through channel partners. Walton revamped the Partner Program, adding new partner levels to Cradlepoint’s Global Partner program, and enhanced partner enablement with new training and certifications available in Cradlepoint University (CPU).
Under Walton’s guidance in 2016, Cradlepoint hosted its largest Global Partner Summit to date in Boise, Idaho, allowing partners to hear from company executives about Cradlepoint’s strategy and vision, interact and collaborate with Cradlepoint’s sales and engineering teams, learn from the success of other partners, and discover new insights on the growing market opportunity. Walton also expanded the Partner Advisory Council (PAC) to gain valuable insight and feedback from top partners across Cradlepoint’s diverse partner ecosystem and varied channel selling motions. By providing more opportunities to improve sales and market presence, Cradlepoint is opening the door for long-term success for its partners.
“The executives on our 2017 Channel Chiefs list have distinguished themselves by building strong partner programs, developing and executing effective business strategy and helping to advance the channel as a whole,” said Bob Faletra, CEO of The Channel Company. “They represent an extraordinary group of individuals who lead by example and serve as both invaluable advocates and innovators of the IT channel. We applaud their achievements and look forward to their successes in the coming year.”
“We congratulate Ed on being recognized again in 2017 as a CRN Channel Chief. Our channel partners are critical to the success of our company and Cradlepoint is 100% committed to our channel community,” said George Mulhern, CEO and chairman of the board at Cradlepoint. “Under the leadership of Ed, we have increased both the depth and breadth of our channel partners. In 2016, we continued to invest in our NetCloud platform, and our partner community has really adopted our vision of one unified networking platform that lean and agile connected enterprises can use to connect their places, things and people. We commend Ed and his entire team on the tremendous accomplishments they have achieved the last two years.”
