5GA Series

Designed for branches that require the higher performance of 5G and the flexibility of wireless, the Cradlepoint W-Series 5GA wideband adapters usher in the next generation of Wireless WAN networking. The W-Series is designed to accommodate the diverse spectrums, multiple generations, and breadth of new technologies introduced in 5G while delivering enterprise-class standards of scalability, comprehensive management, and security.

High Performance Wideband

The W-Series 5G Wideband Adapters are purpose-built for deployment in the new high-performance Sub-6 5G spectrum. To address the tradeoff of lower propagation, Cradlepoint designed the W-Series Adapter to be placed separately from the router for optimal signal reception with two available form factors. The stylized W2000 5G Wideband Adapter is designated for optimal indoor placement while the W2005 5G Wideband Adapter has metal construction with an IP67 rating and is designated for outdoor deployment.

While the performance of 5G is top of mind, the W-Series was also designed with enterprise-class standards for high scalability, comprehensive management, and security. 5G Spectrum Solutions

The W-series portfolio supports all spectrum layers ensuring that organizations have the right solution for every location. The W2000 and W2005 support low- and mid-band layers while the W4005 supports low-, mid-, and high-band layers.

Cradlepoint Verify™ Mobile Application

As an extension to NetCloud, Cradlepoint Verify helps installers quickly and accurately install the W-Series indoor or outdoor units for optimal 5G signal reception. Upon a verified installation, users receive a detailed report that includes installation pictures, speed test results, and modem health metrics.

Complete Lifecycle Management

When paired with a Cradlepoint 5G-ready router, the remote W-Series modems appear and function within NetCloud Manager like an integrated modem, simplifying deployment and management while reducing licensing costs for the pair.

Out-of-Band Management

To mitigate the effects of an unreachable router, the W-Series offers efficient Outof-Band Management. Network administrators can connect to the router over the air, even if IP and Ethernet are unavailable on the router, improving uptime and reducing truck rolls.
