Global cellular certifications determine if Cradlepoint endpoints are safe to operate on a carrier/operator network. Cradlepoint typically achieves two cellular industry certifications: PTCRB for North America and GCF-CC for the rest of the world. Adhering to these cellular standards allows a Cradlepoint product to work globally.
Not all carriers in a particular country are licensed to uniformly support all of the cellular frequency bands that a particular modem in a Cradlepoint endpoint is capable of using. Customers and partners should ensure their choice of a carrier in a given country meets the use case and operational needs the selected Cradlepoint endpoint can provide. Not all countries where our endpoints are certified and available allow for NetCloud data handling and storage. Customers and partners should verify local regulations with each geography.
