Ericsson’s indoor small cells include the Radio Dot System, a compact and high-performing solution built to accommodate seamless device mobility. Radio Dots address a wide range of indoor environments and use cases, with clear operational benefits and savings for private 5G networks as well as neutral host deployments that improve indoor public cellular coverage. Each Ericsson Indoor Radio Unit can support up to eight Dots — creating larger cells that make device handoffs and associated connection dropoffs moot.
