Ericsson Radio System is an end-to-end modular and scalable radio access network consisting of hardware, software and services. The system inlcudes a family of macro, massive MIMO, mmWave, micro, radio dot system, and antenna-integrated radios for radio access networks. These radios are based on state-of-the-art multi-standard technology and can operate in GSM, WCDMA, LTE, and 5G mode using FDD, TDD, as well as supplementary downlinks. Our radios are designed to be installed in cabinets, close to the antennas, or fully integrated into the antennas. They can be rail, wall, ceiling or pole-mounted. The rail system, incorporating Ericsson’s unique one-bolt installation, provides tremendous flexibility and speed and resolves most site challenges faced by operators.
