Cradlepoint Appoints New Product and Engineering Executives to Extend Leadership in 4G Wireless WANs to 5G and Realize Elastic Edge Vision

BOISE, Idaho – Feb. 20, 2018 – Cradlepoint, the global leader in cloud-delivered 4G LTE network solutions that provide a pathway to 5G, today announced it has expanded its executive leadership team with the appointment of Marc Bresniker as vice president of product management and Pankaj Malhotra as senior vice president of engineering.

These executive appointments will enable Cradlepoint to extend its leadership in cloud-delivered 4G LTE network solutions into 5G and deliver on the its Elastic Edge™ vision for next-generation Wide-Area Networks (WANs) based on software-defined edge networks that utilize 4G/5G wireless services.

Bresniker and Malhotra have experience from industry-leading vendors in the network and cloud space, and are known for their technical vision and success in delivering innovative solutions to enterprise and service provider customers worldwide. Their proven experience, technical acumen and leadership abilities will help Cradlepoint continue to innovate and meet the WAN transformation needs of its customers as they embrace digital transformation and deploy wireless connectivity more broadly.

Bresniker joins Cradlepoint with 19 years of proven success in product management and market development. He built and led teams to manage products across SDWAN, WiFi, Unified communications, Switching, Routing and SaaS with Akamai, Cisco SDN, Cisco Meraki, Cisco SMB and Cisco ISR teams.

Malhotra brings 23 years of proven technical achievement and engineering management experience within the enterprise networking industry. He has also built many high-performance teams across multi-disciplined engineering programs that include complex and scaled SaaS Products, Unified Communications, WLAN, Network Management, Ethernet Switching and Routing platforms with Twilio, Shortel, Juniper and Cisco.
