Melbourne, Australia — Nov. 8, 2023 — Cradlepoint, the global leader in cloud-delivered LTE and 5G wireless network edge solutions, announced the winners of its 2023 Asia Pacific (APAC) Partner Awards at the company’s annual ANZ and ASEAN partner summit events. Cradlepoint’s ANZ Partner Summit was held in Uluru on 1-3 November and the ASEAN Partner Summit was held in Singapore on 7 November. This year’s Partner Summit theme was ‘No Limits’ and included deep-dive Cradlepoint solution sessions, with a particular focus on Cradlepoint’s security solutions following the company’s acquisition of Ericom. The partner summit events also provided access to global executive leaders as well as opportunities for networking and group experiences in the incredible locations where the summits were held.
The 2023 Cradlepoint Asia Pacific partner award winners are:
1. Breakout Partner of the Year: Exceed ICT (ANZ) and HiTechCom Malaysia (ASEAN)
2023 was a breakout year for Exceed ICT. Building on its previous years’ experience in developing solutions with Cradlepoint, the team was able to secure several strategic customer wins in Australia, which has helped propel the Exceed ICT business forward and set it up for future success.
HitechCom Malaysia has been a breakout partner for Cradlepoint in Malaysia in 2023, meticulously integrating multiple technologies into a growing Wireless Wan mobility business, with Cradlepoint at the core.
2. Technical Excellence Partner of the Year: OneStep Group (ANZ) and Blue Wireless (ASEAN)
Over the last year OneStep Group has strengthened its competence on Cradlepoint, both sales and technical, specifically demonstrating capability on the technical side. OneStep Group was the first partner globally to get a Pioneer level mountaineer in Solutions Consultant, Joe Myatt.

3. Managed Service Partner of the Year (APAC): Switch Telecom
Switch Telecom has developed a strong, managed, Wireless WAN practice, offering up Opex-based solutions that solve technology issues, to its customers. The partner’s consumption models match customers’ expectations as evidenced by its consistent year-on-year growth with Cradlepoint.
4. Telco / Carrier Partner of the Year (APAC): Optus
Optus has consistently grown its Cradlepoint Wireless WAN practice, demonstrating year-on-year growth and recently launching Cradlepoint based Fixed Wireless Access solutions. Optus has been instrumental in several key enterprise customer wins with Cradlepoint over the last year.
5. Distributor of the Year (APAC): Tec D Malaysia
Tec D Malaysia has made outstanding efforts to grow the Cradlepoint partner ecosystem in Malaysia. This includes consistent efforts to onboard and enable new partners and drive demand for Cradlepoint solutions. Tec D has also helped drive several key wins with innovative commercial solutions, which is crucial in this complex and competitive market.

In July, Cradlepoint APAC launched a new MSP program, which includes enhancements like dedicated onboarding and marketing support, MSP specific pricelists and exclusive planned NetCloud Manager enhancements. Cradlepoint has also improved its tiering structure for channel partners and supports Australian channel partners in the SMB space through its recent distribution partnership with Leader Computers.
