Connectivity is Key to Safer Personnel and Communities in Modern Public Safety

On Demand

Event Description

2020 has been a year like none other for public safety personnel on the front lines. Fewer people and more demands and challenges than ever before. To meet the need now and in the future, agencies have been cramming years’ worth of digital transformation into mere months, as they work to improve both personnel and community safety and transparency through connected technologies.

In this virtual event, Nick Bruckner, Lexipol SVP will discuss the results of our 2020 survey exploring connected technology trends in public safety along with Todd Krautkremer, Cradlepoint CMO, and Eric Brumm, City of Glendale, California – Chief Information Technology Architect, and how the City of Glendale is managing these operational challenges both in the short-term and toward the future.

Webinar attendees will learn:

  • Where dedicated public safety networks and other market drivers are accelerating adoption of new technology
  • Best practices and real-world applications of connected technology from a leading government agency
  • Evaluation criteria public agencies use when planning for new technology investment to ensure ROI and scale
  • Practical advice to overcome the main barriers preventing adoption of critical communication technology, including budget restrictions.

Cradlepoint donated $5,000 to the First Responder Children’s Foundation on behalf of everyone that attended our live webinar in its entirety. We are proud to partner with Cradlepoint and their support of this foundation in their initiatives of providing aid to the families of First Responders and Front-Line workers; especially during COVID-19.

About the First Responders Children’s Foundation, they provide college scholarships for the children of those injured or killed in the line of duty. With your attendance, Cradlepoint will be able to help them by providing funds that can be used for PPE, financial grants, and temporary housing to stem the spread of hardship and infections among first responder families and the communities they serve.
