Primary image selection — Ericsson Brand House

  • Use Brand House images first. These are custom Ericsson images available to all employees.
  • For external sharing (partners, agencies, etc.): Check rights with the brand team before use. Submit a request if unsure.
  • If partners use our proprietary images: They must credit Ericsson (e.g., “Image courtesy of Ericsson”). The brand team can advise which images require this.

NEW! Secondary image options via AI-generation

AI-generated images or artwork for business purposes may be used externally only when curated and approved by the Ericsson corporate brand team. This process enables faster fulfillment of gaps in the enterprise image library while ensuring both brand consistency and legal compliance.

AI-generated images created by employees may only be used for concepting or ideation and intended for internal use only through AI platforms like Playground.

  • Yes:Use AI tools like Playground for inspiration or conceptual purposes

  • Yes:Limit use of stock images

  • No:Employee creation of AI images to be used externally

New image requests will be submitted to the corporate brand team through the BEWs’ creative team to help build up an internal library shared across our BA.

Limited use of stock images

While stock images can be a quick solution, they dilute brand differentiation and uniqueness. Overused imagery also contributes to visual saturation. Per Ericsson brands standards, use stock images only if permitted by the corporate brand team. 

When using stock images:

  • Always credit non-Ericsson sources (e.g., “Image courtesy of Getty Images”) for external-facing materials.
  • Do not share stock images from the Enterprise Wireless library with partners or vendors. This can cause copyright/licensing violations. External parties must source their own.

Product photography

Ericsson Cradlepoint routers, adapters, and accessory images are available in web and print resolution.

Dos and dont’s

  • No:Do not generate images via AI for external purposes

  • No:Use color overlays or effects to change the color

  • No:Make color photography black and white

  • No:Crop closely into photography and obscure the subject matter

  • No:Stretch, rotate or reflect photography, always scale proportionately

  • No:Apply any graphics to images

  • No:Avoid using Stock images whenever possible* (see above)
